Faculty RSVP for 2023 UAF Commencement

UAF’s 101st commencement is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 6at the Carlson Center. There will be one ceremony this year. Faculty should arrive at noon and park on the north side of the building and walk around to the Pioneer Room to line upRSVP here to participate in UAF's commencement activities on May 6. Thank you for helping to celebrate our graduates!


Arctic Research Open House 

Learn about the groundbreaking science happening at the University of Alaska Fairbanks through engaging, family-friendly activities on Thursday, May 18 from 4-7 p.m. Visit with research groups and colleges along the West Ridge of UAF’s Troth Yeddha’ Campus. Park for free in lots along Koyukuk Drive. Don’t miss the free ice cream social hosted by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.

UAF Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting an Art-o-Mat machine for the month of May. This retired cigarette machine has been refurbished to dispense small works of original art for $5. Learn more about the Art-o-Mat project here. Summer Sessions is located in Eielson 216 and is open M-F, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information is available at 907-474-7021, summer@alaska.edu, and the Summer Sessions website.
