Alaska state veterinarian Bob Gerlach will provide updates on current avian influenza
outbreaks across North and South America, and what Alaskans can do to protect their
poultry. Gerlach is responsible for animal health regulations and animal disease surveillance
and response. The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service is

In 2021, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation created the Missing and Murdered Indigenous
Persons Initiative to address active and cold case missing and murdered persons cases.
