Staff on Tap

Staff on Tap is a new event organized by the UAF Pub, tailored for the staff and faculty members 21 and older, every Wednesday from 4:30-6 p.m. The Pub will be offering a special bruschetta exclusively during this event.


At-risk Alaskans can join wellness program

Alaskans across the state who are at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes are eligible to join a yearlong program to help them lose weight and improve their health. The deadline to register is Sept. 29. Read more about the program.

Benefactor fund grants for student groups

Student and campus groups can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 from the UAF Alumni Association. The funds will support projects that identify specific needs and improve campus opportunities for current students. The application deadline is Oct. 23. Read more about the grants.
