Research: Home heating fuels area's direct sulfate pollution

UAF School of Education to host Fairbanks Fly-In

A cohort of Alaska Indigenous Teacher Corps students from rural communities and Alaska Indigenous Teacher Network alumni are coming to Fairbanks for the Fairbanks Fly-In, Feb 22-24. Read more about the upcoming event.

Middle schools to compete in Alaska Science Olympiad

The Alaska Science Olympiad will convene Feb. 23-24 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Students will travel from the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Homer, Kenai and Kodiak to compete with Fairbanks North Star Borough students. Learn more about the event.


Global Autonomous Systems Conference scheduled for August

Join us Aug. 13-15 at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage for the second annual Global Autonomous Systems Conference. Meeting organizers will provide the setting to continue the in-depth conversations between practitioners, researchers and policymakers about the current state and future of autonomous systems and artificial intelligence in Alaska, across the nation, and around the world that were started last year.
