Feb. 7 should have received an invitation. New employees hired in the last year who
would like to attend, can contact Carla Browning by March 29.
Roweena Carlos has been selected to serve as UAF's new Nanook Technology Services

services, is part of the updated IT structure, enabling UAF to address university
needs and provide innovative campus-centered solutions. Learn more about the experience Carlos brings to UAF.
On these March nights, a male boreal owl has been singing from a wooden owl box near
our home. The late biologist Dave Klein attached the nest box to a black spruce tree
north of the University of Alaska Fairbanks ski trails many years ago. Read more about this friendly-looking owl.
