Searching on Denali for microplastics

Two college students will soon be stuffing snow from the slopes of Alaska's highest mountain into Nalgene bottles. Their goal is to see if that precipitation contains tiny plastic particles that are ubiquitous everywhere else on Earth. Learn more about the students' research.

UAF Summer Sessions still has openings for kids' camps

We have filled over 1,500 summer camp slots, but we still have openings. We have a camp for everyone, and we have added new sections of several popular camps, such as Little Nook Running Camp, Wood and Bark Carving, Going Ballistic with Physics, and Rifle Camp.
