Applications for UAF Troth Yeddha’ Ph.D. Awards are now open, with funding available to support a limited number of Ph.D. students for summer 2025, fall 2025, and spring 2026. CTC receives $4.3 million to boost Native student success

The University of Alaska Fairbanks' Community and Technical College has been awarded a $4.3 million federal Title III grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The five-year grant will be used to enhance academic programs, student services and partnerships with industry to improve access and success for Alaska Native students. Read more about the grant.

Power to head bolt outlets on campus

As temperatures drop in the Interior, Facilities Services has activated the head bolt outlets. Please note that we operate the HBOs on a cycle of one hour on and one hour off when temperatures range between 20°F and -25°F. When temperatures fall below -25°F, we will keep the HBOs on continuously. Read more on the winter temperature power schedule.

North Star Invitational Women's Basketball vs. Western Colorado

Join us for your Nanooks Women's Basketball season opener on Nov. 15! Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. in the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium located in the Patty Center. UPDATE: December beaded earring workshop

The UAF Summer Sessions non-credit beaded earring workshop for adults using beads and wire will be Saturday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $80 and materials are provided. Read more and register to participate in the course.
