Dear UAF students, faculty and staff,
At UAF we are committed to the health, well-being, and safety of our students, employees
and visitors. We are excited to release our annual security and fire safety report
and have outlined some highlights of the report below.
Annual security and fire safety report
Our annual security and fire safety report includes information about campus security
and personal safety, including topics such as crime prevention, crime reporting policies,
the authority of the University Police Department,
student disciplinary procedures, fire safety, sexual misconduct, and other policies
that reflect safety and security on campus. Campuses addressed in the report include:
Troth Yeddha’ Campus (Fairbanks), Community and Technical College, Aviation Facility,
Pipeline Training Center, Bristol Bay Campus, Chukchi Campus, Kuskokwim Campus, Northwest
Campus, Tok Center, Kasitsna Bay Laboratory, Lena Point Fisheries Facility, Seward
Marine Center, Fort Wainwright, and Eielson Air Force Base.
The report also contains statistics regarding certain crimes reported as having occurred
on campus; in certain non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UAF;
or on property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, any UAF campus.
We share this data in order to provide transparency to, and insight for, members of
our community.

Constitution Hall, 3rd floor, for a hard copy. If you are unable to access the office,
please call 907-474-7300 and they will be happy to provide you with a copy of the
report.
