Kes Woodward, UAF professor emeritus of art, will present "A Beacon for Culture: A Century of University of Alaska Leadership in the Arts" at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12 in the Murie Building auditorium. He will illustrate and discuss the university's indispensable role in developing Alaska’s visual and performing arts and our understanding of who we are as Alaskans. Read more
