Peter MacKeith photography exhibit opens for First Friday
The "2017 Peter MacKeith Memorial Photography Exhibition: Ascension" will open Friday, March 3, with a reception in Wood Center's Arctic Java. The photos will be on display beginning at 5 p.m. The reception event is free and open to the public. Frozen Lenses, the UAF student photography group, is hosting the exhibit through March 19 in partnership with the Wood Center Student Activities Office. Read more

Cold War inspired first launch from Poker Flat

Strategic Pathways forum scheduled
UA President Jim Johnsen and UAF Chancellor Dana Thomas will host a forum on the Strategic Pathways options in phase two from 1- 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom. The forum is open to students, faculty and staff.

Seating is somewhat limited, but the event will also be webcast.

UP/RISE exhibit needs art
The Nanook Diversity and Action Center will host UP/RISE, an art exhibit celebrating womanhood, March 20-31 in Arctic Java. March is Women's History Month.

Artists interested in submitting two-dimensional work to UP/RISE can find the application on the NDAC website (www.uaf.edu/activities/ndac).
