As we come to the close of another year, I’d like to thank every one of you for being part of this university. Each day is filled with important work done with enthusiasm and dedication by our students, staff and faculty. I am inspired each day to see people helping and encouraging others.

I hope you take time to reflect on everything you’ve accomplished this year, and to thank the people around you. If you can, please also consider helping others in need. The Wood Center food pantry serves any UAF student who needs it, and I encourage you to donate to this or any cause that is important to you. It takes all of us working together, in ways large and small, to make this university and our community an outstanding place to be.
