Dear UAF community,

Last night, there was an incident at Moore Hall that ended with one of our students severely injured.

Shortly after 12:30 a.m., campus police responded to a report of someone behaving erratically in a Moore Hall room. When they arrived, they found that a student had fallen from his seventh-floor window. He had survived the fall but had severe injuries and was transported to the hospital. As of this morning, he was in stable condition. His family has been informed of the incident.

After some investigation, police do not believe the incident was a suicide attempt.
