Every year on this date, I am honored to thank our nation’s military veterans and families for their service and sacrifice. Many of our students, staff, faculty and fellow citizens made a commitment to the United States and to us all through military service, and we owe them gratitude, not just on this day but every day.
|
I am inspired by the example set by our military service members. They did not shy away from challenges and change, but embraced it. Having veterans as part of the UAF community strengthens us during this challenging time.

To all our veterans and their families, thank you, today and every day. And a special thanks to those veterans who are Nanooks. Thanks for your service and thanks for choosing UAF.
