and programs during Pride month, LGBTQ+ History Month, UAF’s Pride week, Lavender Graduation, and other UAF celebrations and observances.

UAF is working to improve its Field Safety Emergency Plans (FSEP) for those traveling
to field locations within the United States and abroad. The FSEP is intended to provide
UAF travelers with a sound action plan to cope with emergencies that may be encountered
on official travel. Please review the improved field safety document and provide feedback by July 5, 2022. We want to ensure we have asked the right questions to capture critical information.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks is currently casting students for The College Tour,
an Amazon Prime streaming series, and we're looking for fun and engaging students
to be featured in our episode! Each episode tells the story of a single college through the lens of its students. Have a student you think would be great? Encourage them to apply by July 8 by sending
them here to learn about the segments and to submit a short selfie video.
As we near the end of Pride month at UAF, we're highlighting a scholarship supporting
LGBTQ2IA+ students and allies from the UAF community. In 2011, a group of UAF alumni
and friends established the LGBT Friends and Allies Scholarship. This UAF scholarship
is the only one of its kind in the University of Alaska system.
Please plan to join us for this year's Golden Days Grande Parade, the first since

are also welcome to attend. Please read through the parade guidelines and sign up in advance.
The genres available for purchase include Dixieland, jazz, blues, Christmas, music
theater, big band and classical. Those interested can call 907-474-5291 or email the UAF Music Department to schedule an appointment.
