The Alaska hockey team hoisted the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup for the 12th-straight
time tonight in Fairbanks. Despite the Cup being decided in December, the Seawolves
gave the 'Nooks a run for their money, but Alaska rallied late to grab their second-consecutive
4-3 OT win over UAA. With the win, the Nanooks improve to 13-9-2 on the season.
UAF's 101st commencement is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, at the Carlson
Center. There will be one ceremony this year. Students who are expecting to walk this year, should apply to graduate by Feb. 1 (TODAY!). Spring graduation applications received by the initial deadline will be entered to win a vintage diploma frame.
After that date the fee rises to $80; March 1 is the final deadline.

service provider? Are we an information gatekeeper? Are we all about books? Anyone
using libraries lately knows that we are currently all of those things, and more;
we are the heart of any community engaged in the pursuit of knowledge.
