Women's History Month, celebrated during March in the U.S., honors the trailblazing
women who have shaped the course of American history and who continue to chart the
course of our nation's future. At UAF, we are fortunate to have countless examples
of women who have changed Alaska and the world with their ground-breaking and inspirational
work. Vera Alexander is an excellent example.
Graduates should order caps, gowns, tassels by March 25 and have them mailed to their current address to ensure arrival before the event. To order, visit the Jostens website or call the UAF Bookstore at 907-474-6898 for information about commencement regalia.
Facilities Services needs to remove hard pack and they need to close certain parking
lots to provide a safe and conducive working environment. Please see a complete list of parking lot closures here. Badger Towing will relocate vehicles in closed parking lots at the owner's expense.
If you leave your car on campus throughout the break, please park in the Taku lot,
off of Farmers Loop Road.
