Experience these and other unique activities at the 2023 Arctic Research Open House from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, along the West Ridge of the University of Alaska Fairbanks' Troth Yeddha' Campus.

CTC aviation celebrates 10 years of "Joy" during open house May 20

UAF CTC aviation program celebrates a decade at Fairbanks International Airport with iconic Boeing 727 cargo jet, Joy. Visitors can tour the jet and aviation facility during Fairbanks Aviation Day on May 20 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Food Trucks are Back for the Summer

Mobile food vendors are back on campus. Early Bird Loaded Fries will be in Cornerstone Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with their new food truck. We have others that will be serving up their goods throughout the summer. Check out our website to see who will be on campus. Check frequently, the schedule will be filling up soon.

  • Deadline for adding classes and late registration for six-week session I; 5 p.m. in-person, midnight at UAOnline (May 26)

  • Deadline for tuition and fee payment for six-week session I; 5 p.m. in-person, midnight at UAOnline (May 26)

  • Last day for student- and faculty-initiated drops with refund for six-week session I (course does not appear on academic record) (May 26)

  • Memorial Day (no classes, most offices closed) (May 29)

Kinross establishes new scholarship at record-breaking Blue & Gold

Donors at last week's University of Alaska Fairbanks Blue & Gold Celebration contributed more than $435,000 in support of student scholarships. The total includes a $350,000 gift from Kinross Alaska to establish the Kinross Alaska Future Leaders Endowed Scholarship.
