The Life Science Seminar series continues on Friday, Oct. 27 from 3-4 p.m. in-person in the Murie Auditorium with Associate Professor of Biology and
Wildlife Greg Breed. He will discuss current research surrounding the lifespan of

The University of Alaska Fairbanks has announced the students named to the deans'
and chancellor's lists for the summer 2023 semester. The lists recognize students'

BLaST Scholar and UAF biology undergraduate student Julie-Anne Brown was selected

This fish skin tanning workshop on Oct. 27 from 5-9 p.m. and Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to
1 p.m. in Room 115, UAS Sitka Campus, 1332 Seward Ave., will be led by instructor
Karen McIntyre. The cost is $125. The workshop is free for tribal members through

UAF Summer Sessions has a diverse selection of non-credit courses for adults this
winter. These short courses allow participants to learn something new or dedicate

UAF's Tamamta program has been honored with the Advancing Diversity and Inclusion
in University Research Award from the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
Tamamta activities and training include Indigenous fisheries courses, an elder-in-residence
program, a visiting Indigenous scholar program, cultural immersion experiences, professional
