This Wilderness First Aid course is a great 20-hour look at the standards and skills
of dealing with: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental
Emergencies and Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies. There

Inspiring Girls* Expeditions Alaska seeks instructors for our 2024 expeditions! We
empower youth to succeed through science, art, and outdoor exploration. Our expeditions
are tuition-free, 12-day programs that emphasize curiosity, creativity, and exploration

Annually, the Facilities Services Division of Utilities performs preventative maintenance
and repair work on the power plant and the utilidor system. Starting on May 5, steam
from the power plant will be shut off to the entirety of the Troth Yeddha' Campus
for two weeks. Steam will return to service around May 19. Stewardship of our utility
investments is critical to maintain a high level of reliability in delivering power

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Alumni Association is accepting nominations to
serve three-year terms on its 12-member board of directors. Nominations will be accepted through March 5. UAFAA members will elect the directors in March, with new board members beginning

Nominations are sought for the Marion Frances Boswell Memorial Award, the Joel Weigert
Award and the Gray S. Tilly Memorial Award which recognize outstanding UAF graduates

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host a free public event to celebrate
the diverse narratives of Black Alaskans on Friday, Feb. 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The celebration will showcase "Black in Alaska: Interior Edition," a multimedia exhibit
that examines the rich history and experience of Black life in Alaska through storytelling.

Center ICE's Students2Startups summer internship program connects University of Alaska
