The University of Alaska Fairbanks will celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day with several
events and activities across colleges, campuses and departments on Monday, Oct. 14,

hold a community celebration; more info is on the event Facebook page. The Northwest Campus in Nome also has a schedule of activities on their Facebook page.
The UAF Fall Career Fair will be held on both levels of the Wood Center on Thursday,
Oct 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are welcoming over 75 employers from a variety of

Student Health and Counseling is offering a Mental Health First Aid training class
to UAF students, staff and faculty on Oct. 24-25 at the BP Design Theater in room

Live at Starvation Gulch features DJ Siren and DJ Arc X Lagosa starting at 8 p.m.
on Oct. 12 at the Nenana parking lot. Come out for live music, dancing, and fun at
the bonfires at Starvation Gulch in this Nanook Traditions event for UAF students!
Faculty, research staff, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students from all disciplines
of UAF-affiliated campuses are invited to apply for up to $3,000 to engage undergraduate
students on their research and creative projects taking place during the spring 2025

Individual undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines at the University
of Alaska are eligible and invited to apply for an award of $2,500 to support their
research using the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections and Archives at the Elmer
