Student Health and Counseling will have walk-in flu clinics available from 8:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, Tuesday, Nov. 26, Tuesday, Dec. 3, and Thursday,

Join ORCA, NAMI, and the Fairbanks Wellness Coalition for a memorial crafting event
on Friday, Nov. 22, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Wood Center Multi-Level Lounge to create
a special UAF collaborative piece of art honoring survivors of suicide loss. Read more about the event.
John Harley, a research assistant professor at the University of Alaska Southeast
Juneau, is the BLaST Scientist of the Month for November 2024! Harley has been involved
with BLaST since 2015. He was a former BLaST Graduate Mentoring Research Assistant
for two years as a Ph.D. student in biochemistry and graduated from the University
of Alaska Fairbanks in 2017. Harley’s research focuses on a One Health framework,
where linkages between humans and the global and local environment and animals are

to science communication has allowed the Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources
and Extension to leverage new initiatives to increase awareness of agriculture's importance

The annual HessGiving event is Nov. 28 from 1-4 p.m. in the MBS Complex Hess Rec Center.
This special event allows students and staff members to come together and enjoy a
festive meal as we celebrate the holiday season. We are seeking dessert donations
