Around the first snowfall is an excellent time to spruce up your personal information
for the directory, update email signatures and review certain office procedures, and
you'll be all set for a productive work winter.
In light of Alaska's recent shift to 10-digit dialing requirements, all call forwarding
from UA phones to off-campus or cell phones must be updated.
COVID-related Emergency Sick Leave and Expanded Family and Medical Leave is no longer
available for use after September 30.
In the spring, Interim President Pitney charged a team with researching long-term
remote work arrangements, investigating how we can best apply the remote workplace
to the University of Alaska, and making recommendations to revise the university policy
and regulation accordingly.
