In her first State of the University address since being appointed president of the
University of Alaska System, Pat Pitney outlined her long-term goals, shared alumni,
faculty and student success stories and reiterated the importance of the university
system to the Arctic and to Alaska's economic future.
The House begins public testimony on the operating budget and the University has a
strong showing in Juneau
