It's that time of year when we celebrate the achievements of graduates across the
University of Alaska system. Congratulations to all graduates!
The Alaska Supreme Court issued its decision regarding the Higher Education Investment
Fund [HEIF] -- the source for Alaska Performance Scholarships, needs-based grants
and WWAMI funding.

President Pitney, joined by the three chancellors and System Office leadership, held
a virtual Town Hall on May 3 open to the entire UA community.
With only 13 days left until the Legislature hits the 121-day regular session deadline,
lawmakers are rushing to meet their constitutionally mandated duties, namely passing
a state budget and voting on appointees to state boards, commissions and the Governor's
cabinet.
