Did you know that students across the university system can earn college credit while interning in the Alaska Capitol?

The program draws students from all three universities and many majors to Alaska's Capitol during the legislative session to work as full-time interns, while completing a rigorous academic program.

939 Alaska high school students designated for $12,000 UA Scholars Award

High school seniors from nearly 250 schools across Alaska have been identified as this year's class of University of Alaska (UA) Scholars, qualifying each of them for a $12,000 scholarship to use at any location in the UA system. Students ranked within the top ten percent of their class are eligible for the award.
