There are still a good number of LinkedIn Learning licenses available for professional development needs for staff at all campuses. LinkedIn Learning, formerly Lynda.com, has thousands of professional online courses.

Update on United Academics CBA Negotiations

UNAC and the university have met through the Federal mediation process on June 20, June 23 and July 11. At the July 11 session, the university offered an updated proposal for UNAC's consideration. This proposal included several concessions to UNAC beyond those already included in the implemented BAFO.

CITO finalists forums

The Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) search committee has narrowed the search to four finalists. Visits for the first three candidates have been finalized and include open forums for staff to meet the candidates.

Cassidy Hobbs named Assistant Director of Federal Relations for D.C. office

The former legislative aid for Sen. Murkowski will be maintaining communication and relationships with federal officials, sharing UA's priorities, and monitoring and sharing information with key stakeholders regarding relevant legislation or agency decisions that may affect the university system.
