CARES Act  and CRRSAA Funding:

The University of Alaska Fairbanks has awarded the student portions of the CARES Act, the CRRSA Act from the U.S. Department of Education in the amount of $2,066,652. UAF has also awarded approximately half of the student portion of the ARP Act in the amount of $2,091,300.  The second half of the student portion of the ARP Act will be awarded during the spring 2022 semester.  These awards are to help with expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus, including cost of attendance, such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care. Financial Aid Re-evaluation:

Financial Aid advisors are available to meet virtually to help you figure out how to pay for the upcoming semester. We can re-evaluate your family’s ability to pay for college due to a reduction in wages, extraordinary medical expenses or other extenuating circumstances (Request for Review of Special Circumstances Form). Be sure to include a personal statement explaining your situation and any necessary documentation. 

Financial Aid Disbursement:

Financial aid will disburse funding Aug. 14. The deadline to pay your balance is Sept. 4. More information on payment plans, advance funding, and how to enroll on UAOnline to set up a payment plan are available on this payment plan website.
