GRADUATION PAPERWORK AND THESIS/DISSERTATION/PROJECT SUBMISSION DEADLINES

GRADUATION DEADLINES

Deadline for Advancement to Candidacy Form

At the latest, the Advancement to Candidacy Form must be submitted at least one semester before you plan to graduate. [Page 7, Graduate Student Handbook]  We strongly recommend that you turn it in sometime near the middle of the semester before you intend to graduate so that we have time to review it against your program and catalog requirements and let you know if anything is amiss with enough time for you to fix it.   That said, it is in your best interest to review your Advancement to Candidacy against your program requirements to make sure that it matches or that you have petitions to address the disparities.

If you choose to turn in your Advancement the same semester you intend on graduating, any errors or omissions therein may result in you not graduating as expected.

Deadline for Application for Graduation*
