The UAF Alumni Association has recently launched its new platform, Nanook Network, to students and alumni so that they can stay connected as well as have access to great opportunities.
Elizabeth Talbot, UAF alumni relations coordinator said the UAF Alumni Association is so excited about the launch of Nanook Network. "This new platform will keep alumni, staff, faculty, current students, and friends of UAF connected. Nanook Network is also designed as a mentoring platform. Students and alumni can find individuals who have studied in their field and have similar interests. This can lead to internships and more...In today's digital world this platform is more relevant than ever. We need a place that can serve as an online community for Nanook Nation, connecting our alums and supporters from around the globe with each other and with UAF."
The Honors College recently created a group on its platform for any Honor students that join Nanook Network wanting to connect with past Honors Alumni. We are all very excited to have the opportunity to be apart of this new program and are looking forward to seeing where it goes in the future!
