On November 3, 2011, the personnel and payroll teams from UAF Human Resources began bi-weekly mini trainings (no more than 30 minutes).
They are also available for anyone to join via Blackboard Collaborative. Agendas or topic of the day will be distributed via email the day before to the Primary and Back-up PPAs only. PPAs are encouraged to invite others within their departments/units that may have an interest in any particular subject; we do not maintain a list serv or other listing for participants.
Attendance is recorded for primary and back-up PPAs. Attendance for all others is not recorded as well as if notes and/or recording are viewed in lieu of attendance.
To avoid costs, audio is presented through Blackboard only and therefore questions are via the chat function. These sessions are limited to 30 minutes and we will do our best to answer all questions. Any questions we are unable to get to will be distributed via the notes.
If a PPA is unable to attend they are encouraged to review the notes posted below and/or the recordings which may be accessed by going to the link provided at the top of the notes. Please remember, these classes are held via technology and we apologize in advance for any technological challenges you may have in joining us.
