Textbooks
You have several options on how to buy/rent your textbooks.
UAF Bookstore
The UAF Bookstore is easy access and has all the textbooks you need, used or new. However, sometimes you must order them or wait for them to order more because they are out of stock. Renting is always available but sometimes used rent is not possible because of the limited stock of their used books. The bookstore is a good choice if you are out of time to wait for an online delivery and it is close by.
At the end of the semester you can sell them back the books you bought. However, they do not take back all of them and they will buy them back for much less than you paid.
The Bookstore is located on campus in Constitution Hall, on the 1st and 2nd floors. The 2nd floor Spirit Shop sells; UAF branded Clothing, Gift items, Course Supplies, Office Supplies, Art Supplies, Snacks/Drinks, Health and Beauty items, and Technology items.
The Textbook Store located on the 1st floor downstairs across from the Post Office carries; Course Related Textbooks (New, Used, Digital, & Rental Books), and Course Related Supplies. The bookstore’s phone number is 907-474-6858, press 1 for customer service and updated store hours.
