Volunteering
Volunteering is a great opportunity for you to get involved in your host community, build relationships with community members, and network. Fairbanks has a number of volunteer organizations that would be happy to have your assistance on a short- or long-term basis. Whether your interests are in home building, music, theater, recycling and sustainability, or other means of community service, Fairbanks has a wide range of opportunities.

It is important to remember that to be a bona fide volunteer activity, no one is being or has been paid to do the activity, and that there is no expectation of future pay or a job doing the activity.
