Course Stacking
Course stacking in UA Blackboard Learn can be a great way for instructors to streamline the process of distributing course materials and content to their students. Courses may be eligible for stacking if they meet one of the following criteria:
- The courses are administratively tied or cross-listed (e.g. undergraduate and graduate level shared courses)
- Class sections share a common physical lecture session (e.g. shared lecture, different labs)
- Class sections share a common conference-based lecture session (e.g. Blackboard Collaborate, Zoom, or other conferencing)
Be mindful that stacking courses that do not meet one of the above requirements may constitute a violation of FERPA. If you are uncertain of whether your courses are eligible for stacking, or for assistance with course stacking, please refer to your respective campus Course Stacking Guides, below, or contact your respect Campus IT Help Desk.
