About the Author

Sherdes Leona is a queer, Jamaican American whose work spans the mediums of photography,  mixed media, and (performance) poetry. Sherdes Leona is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Art  History and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia at Arizona State University. She works as a  teaching artist with Free Arts for Abused Children Arizona, Mesa Arts Center, Phoenix Center  for the Arts, and others. Her family consists of one other human, four cats, and a dog.
