Frank Dupree
Frank Dupree has a large repertoire ranging from classic to modern music. He is a sought-after soloist in concertos with orchestra and recitals as well as a dedicated chamber musician.
Dupree has won prizes at more than 60 national and international piano competitions.
He specializes in playing the piano and conducting simultaneously. For example, in June 2013, he conducted the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor and played the solo part.
Born in 1991, Dupree has been a student of the concert pianist and teacher Professor Sontraud Speidel since the age of 6. In the summer semester of 2011, Dupree began his studies at the University of Music Karlsruhe.
Since the summer semester 2013, Dupree has been a scholarship student of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, the Study Foundation of the German People.
