Tuition for attending UAF changes every year and is dependent upon residency.
Based on the 2017-18 school year, the estimated cost of tuition only (excluding all fees, room, and board) to complete the full MBA program ranges from $12,648 to $13,980 for residents or online students, and from $28,038 to $29,370 for non-residents. Costs will vary depending on whether students choose 400-level or 600-level courses for their two elective courses.
Below are estimated costs for resident (and online) and non-resident students.

*Non-resident students pay resident (in-state) tuition for online classes.
NOTE: All SOM courses are charged an additional surcharge of 20% of the full tuition. For the 2017/2018 academic year, these fees are $49/credit for undergraduate courses (300 to 400-level only) and $93/credit for graduate courses (600-level); these fees are not covered by tuition waivers. Additional UAF fees may also apply.
You can find the complete estimated cost of attendance, including applicable fees, room, and board, for either resident/online or non-resident students on the UAF Tuition & Fees page. For a better idea of tuition expense you can also use the UAF tuition calculator.
SOM’s MBA program offers some financial aid opportunities to its students in the form of scholarships and paid teaching assistant (TA) positions. There are usually four available TA positions that each span a full academic year (two semesters). TA benefits include an annual stipend, 9-credit tuition waiver, health insurance, and teaching experience. Teaching assistantships will be competitive among admitted students.
