'Staff Volunteer Day Proposal' Approved by Chancellor Rogers

On August 19, 2015, Chancellor Brian Rogers approved UAF Staff Council's proposal for the creation of a Staff Volunteer Day, with the recommendation that a committee be formed to finalize details for implementation.   This proposal and the supporting resolution (Resolution 2015-261-4), were written and submitted to Staff Council by the University Advocacy Committee, chaired by Nate Bauer.  Staff Council approved Resolution 2015-261-4, in support of the proposal, at Staff Council Meeting #261, on May 4, 2015.  These documents were then forwarded to the Chancellor's Office for consideration in May.
