The mission of the UAF Leadership Program is to cultivate effective leaders for Alaska by creating and supporting a rich variety of student leadership development opportunities, partnering with academic departments and the community, and recognizing successful student leadership.
Student Activities organizes events designed to entertain, educate and inspire the UAF community.
Nanook Traditions are among UAF's most highly anticipated annual events. These include the Starvation Gulch bonfires in September, Winter Carnival in February and SpringFest in late April.
The Nanook Diversity and Action Center (NDAC) provides a welcoming space, educational programming, and opportunities to transform social concerns into action.
