The bachelor’s in arts and sciences is offered as an interdisciplinary degree and is administered through the UAF interdisciplinary studies program. This means you can tailor your bachelor’s degree program to your unique academic and career goals.
A faculty advisor will help guide the development of your individual degree program, and work closely with you throughout your course of study.

Who is eligible for the applied arts and sciences program?
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences is a degree completion program designed specifically for students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and who wish to earn a bachelor-level degree. To be eligible for the program, you must have an A.A.S. degree from a college recognized by one of the Institutional Accrediting Agencies approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
