Certificate; Degree: A.A.S.
Minimum Requirements for Certificate: 30 credits; for Degree: 60 credits
The Native language education program is designed to train teachers of Native language and culture, providing coursework in either Athabaskan or Inupiaq Eskimo. The certificate and degree are recognized by some Alaska school districts and serve as steps on the way to a four-year degree and teacher certification.
