The Sea Grant program, a unit of the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, provides the knowledge and means needed to develop, use, and conserve the marine resources of the state and nation.
Research and teaching programs include projects in fisheries oceanography, fisheries sciences, fisheries enhancement, fisheries economics, food science and technology, and aquaculture. Sea Grant also supports continuing programs of public information and advisory services.
