Rural Educator Preparation Partnership
Rural Educator Preparation Partnership (REPP) is a statewide collaborative effort designed to improve teacher recruitment and training opportunities for rural residents. The partnership involves rural school districts, Native communities, businesses, education professionals and UAF.
REPP teacher candidates work with district master teachers who serve as mentor partners. University faculty members work with the teacher candidate and the district master teacher to develop an individual licensure plan and a university degree curriculum, based on Alaska state teacher standards. For more information, contact REPP at 707B Gruening Building or call (907) 474-5589.
