M.B.A.: 30 credits
The business administration department offers professional education in the fields of management, finance, human resource management, international business, marketing and travel industry management to individuals interested in entering industry or government.
The program prepares graduates to meet the complex problems of the technical, economic and social environment and to enable them to provide imaginative and responsible leadership to industry and government.
The UAF MBA program recognizes that competence in the practice of management necessitates education in both breadth and depth. The MBA program is accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business.
Business Administration -- B.B.A. Degree
Concentrations: Management and Organizations, Marketing
- Complete the general university requirements. (As part of the core curriculum requirements, complete: PHIL 322X* or PS 300X* or NRM 303X*; and MATH 262X*.)

Students with a business degree from an AACSB accredited business program can waive the foundation course requirement. Foundation courses are prerequisites to the advanced coursework.
** Take electives to meet the credit requirement for this concentration. A maximum of 2 electives can be taken at the 400-level in either business administration or accounting.
Note: ACCT 650 may not be used to meet both the MBA breadth and elective requirements. Also, to meet prerequisites, additional courses may be required.
