The Cross-Cultural Communications program is designed to serve the needs of Alaska Native and rural students at UAF.

The transition to university communication patterns presents challenges which vary depending on a student's cultural background. This program offers courses designed to capitalize on the similarities of experience brought to UAF by Alaska Native and rural students. The program enables students to make the transition to UAF more quickly than might otherwise be the case.
