Campus Resources: What's Available

Greek Life at UAF

Sigma Sigma Sigma -- the first national sorority in Alaska -- was installed on the UAF campus in 1993. The sorority was founded in 1898 and has more than 100,000 members nationwide. Members share a strong commitment to sisterhood, academics and community service to round out the college experience. Sigmas are provided with academic support and leadership opportunities.

Sigma Phi Epsilon -- the first national fraternity in Alaska -- was installed on the UAF campus in 1997. The fraternity began nationally in 1901 on the principles of virtue, diligence and brotherly love and ranks as one of the oldest and most respected fraternities in the nation. Through community service, campus leadership and fraternalism, Sigma Phi Epsilon gives its members the opportunity to become a balanced man.

Beta Theta Pi -- the newest fraternity at UAF -- was installed on the UAF campus in 1997.
