Speaker series features sport business professionals

The UAF School of Management is hosting a Fall Speaker Series that will be free and open to all students, faculty, staff and community members. The series is sponsored by SOM’s Sport and Recreation Business program and will feature topics of interest to those in the sport industry. Guest speakers from across the country will be featured once per month from September through December.

The title of the first event is “First Impressions and Building a Meaningful Network.” This seminar will cover topics including email etiquette, how to make the most of attending a speaker series, and how to build and maintain a meaningful network. This session will feature the following sport industry professionals:

  • Brett Baur, Vice President, Global Partnerships, Monumental Sports and Entertainment
  • Solly Fulp Executive Vice President, Learfield IMG College
  • Michelle Gulino, Manager of Corporate Sponsorship, Dallas Cowboys
  • Mark Koski, Chief Marketing Officer, National Federation of State High School Associations
  • Chris Parker, President and CEO, National Junior College Athletic Association
