Students get Professionally Polished at Frank's Menswear

For the third year in a row, thanks to a donation from Spirit of Alaska Federal Credit Union, SOM once again collaborated with Sarah Smith, owner of Frank’s Menswear, to carry out the Professionally Polished program. Frank’s staff provided guidance by teaching students what to look for when buying a suit. For a few of the students, this was their very first suit! Frank’s also offered a special discount for our students. This year, Spirit of Alaska FCU increased their donation for this program, allowing a record number of 16 students to participate.





The Professionally Polished program lays important groundwork for students who are migrating from student life toward professional life as they graduate from the university and find jobs. Giving students a boost in their wardrobes gives them a boost in their confidence, as well. We wish all our students the best with their professional style in the future.
