VecFlow enhances AI capabilities. We customize Large Language Models (LLMs), like OpenAI's GPT-4, using a company's dataset. Our approach involves gathering all a company's resources, from text documents to PDFs and slides, and then retrieving this data at the right time for an LLM. Embedding this data into models ensures accurate, contextually rich responses that cite sources. Additionally, we offer a user-interface that seamlessly integrates with existing websites and provide comprehensive technical support, including hosting on platforms such as AWS. Our service extends beyond mere technology provision; we aim to be a strategic partner in enhancing an organization’s narrative, transforming their data into an interactive and engaging user experience. Founded in 2022 by 3 Columbia University CS students, Rutvik, Joe, and Thomas (grew up in Fairbanks), we have now expanded to a group of 7 people. We have raised a pre-seed round with two VCs, Pear and Afore Capital. We are currently located in New York City.

Tundra saw the need for a solution to allow people who live, work and play in these arctic conditions. It is a safety issue on several levels. Tundra is dedicated to solving the issue to save electronics, batteries, the environment and human life. Tundra is positive our heating system will save both soldiers and civilian lives once put into action.
Internship
Tundra Electronics INC has a heating system for electronics in cold and freezing cold temps. Tundra needs to explore the many different applications of the heating system. Testing different electronics at different temps, with and without the heating system. We want to determine how much time we can add to the life of our electronics. We will test phones, cameras, radios, different batteries for drones or surveying equipment. Tundra would like to use the PCB, Battery and silicone heating units to run tests on these electronics. Making any adjustments or changes to get maximum performance from the electronics. Students would be putting together the PCB, battery and heater for testing and prototyping. Some heating systems would have more than 1 heater, or multiple batteries to run 10-15 heaters. The PCB has solder connections for the units to be connected. They need to be drop tested and water tested. We will also test different fabrics and insulation in the hearing units. We will build heated cases, pouches, holsters and more using real life situations and temps to be used by Airlines, FedEx and the Military.

Tundra Electronics INC is owned by a 3rd generation Alaskan who watched through the years the devastating effects cold temps have on electronic devices. After spending years in the Oil and Gas industry on the North Slope I personally saw how much we rely on our electronics in our daily life, and how quickly we can lose use of our devices in cold weather.

Internship
VecFlow is seeking interns in product design, full-stack, and front-end development. We're looking for students who are passionate about engineering and excited to work on projects at the forefront of AI. Our internships are ideal for those eager to contribute to computer science projects, offering hands-on experience in building for an early-stage startup and interacting with clients and investors. We are also happy to accommodate various skill sets. Projects that interns have worked on this semester include building feature mockups in Figma, adding citation features to our chat, and integrating a new retrieval technique into our library.
