Distinctions

Origin

Central, interior, and western Alaska and into Canada from the northern limits of trees south to British Columbia, Manitoba, Minnesota and New Jersey.

Cultivars

‘Ericoides’ Rounded mound; 1.5' tall but can trail to 3'; very thin, bluish-grey needles (Zone 3).; ‘Nana’ Blue nest spruce, grows broader than tall; blue needles, 3' tall.
