Distinctions

Arching branches; fragrant small yellow flowers; bluish-green leaves turn yellow in the fall; similar to clove currant, identified by the flowers, sepals the same length as the petals; self-fertile; plant in full sun or part shade.

Limitations

Irregular open habit with age; suckers; looks best with rejuvenation pruning; berries not edible; needs good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew.
